"Everything Always Stays the Same..." is the follow-up to Robert's "American Scene" debut on Teenbeat. He stripped things down for this release and focused on lo-fi beats paired with piano, keyboards and vocals all recorded and mixed on 4-track. Some gorgeous tunes are included here, including "In a Grave", written about the passing of Robert's grandmother, which evokes thoughts of worlds beyond.
